Lost In The Woods
Nikon D90, Nikkor 50mm 1.8/f
We spent all afternoon shooting in some woods. These aren’t even the reason we went on a photo shoot. We had a fog machine we acquired along when a portable generator. These are just some we decided to take as we waited for the sun to start to set.

Robin had me take these right off the bat the day of her wedding. I barely had time to set my camera equipment on the floor. They turned out really beautiful though.

Getting ready and the first look
These are actually taken straight from the camera. Zero editing has been done and it’s freaking gorgeous.

Going Vintage In Tulsa II
Nikon D90, Nikkor 50mm 1.8/f, Nikkor 60mm Micro 2.8/f, Tamron 10-24mm 3.5/f wide angle.
Alicia did an outfit change into this awesome number. I love that downtown Tulsa has this look to it still. We didn’t get as many photos as we were losing light and it was getting late. I wish we would have switched out outfits a little sooner. Live and learn and sometimes there’s nothing that can be done.
On a last note I need to go back through and see if I missed any others as I browsed through the first time. Alicia brought it to my attention that there is a spot or two missing from our adventure last Sunday.
Once again you can always find the lovely Alicia here.

Going Vintage In Tulsa
Nikon D90, Nikkor 50mm 1.8/f, Nikkor 60 micro 2.8.f
Alicia always has the best outfits. We were battling allergies but ended up wandering downtown Tulsa for 4 and half hours. She was the leader in this shoot. She had the places picked out and we picked up a few random things along the way. Starting off at The Vault was her idea and I had never been there before. It was a great segway into what I think we were trying to accomplish.
You can find her here. She posts a lot of art deco architecture from downtown Tulsa. She’s pretty awesome.

I’m trying to hold back on posting a bunch of these. I’m ridiculously excited and I’m not that far into editing.

Alyssa (Jan. 11, 2010)
NIkon D40x, Nikkor 60mm 2.8/f
One of my very first photo shoots ever. There was a lot of crap when looking back at the shots I took. There were some nice photos hidden about and looking back I would have done a lot of things differently. That’s probably the case for a lot of people though.
It’s hard finding people who will go out int he ice and snow with you to just shoot photos. But Alyssa has always been one for an adventure. This is where our musings with each other started. Thanks to her I’ve been able to mold my experiences and my photo shoots around this day. The friendly and more like hanging out with someone you want to be around vibe of my shoots. I hope you all enjoy.

Part One: Chelsea and the Polka Dot Dress
Nikon D90, NIkkor 60mm 2.8/f, NIkkor 50mm 1.8/f
I know Chelsea from going to college in Tahlequah at Northeastern State University. She was a graphic design student. We didn’t really run in the same circles and I’m not quite sure how we ended up going on this photo shoot.
This was different for me, this is someone that I didn’t quite know as this photo shoot went on. This is where I realized that I really just need to put my way of shooting into motion and let the dice fall where they may. It worked and we had a blast. We were supposed to do another shoot but we haven’t, that’s all on me though. I’ve been trying to get my life straight enough to get back into the swing of shooting all the time.
